A free day of sport, health, and wellness at the Stadio dei Marmi in Rome
VITA ON is a free day entirely dedicated to wellness, prevention, and the culture of movement, hosted at the Stadio dei Marmi "Pietro Mennea", within the monumental Foro Italico complex in Rome. Conceived and organized by Luca Amitrano, the event transforms the Capital's historic facility for one day into a large "Movement Village," where citizens, families, and sports enthusiasts of all ages can take care of themselves freely and at no cost.
The social heart of VITA ON is prevention. Throughout the day, free health screenings, orthopedic visits, postural assessments, and tests to measure physical efficiency parameters are available. The Italian Red Cross, as Charity Partner, presents the "Ginocchio in Forma" (Fit Knee) campaign, dedicated to joint health and proper movement, while the University of Rome "Foro Italico" makes its Exercise Physiology Laboratory available for free scientific testing.
In the afternoon, the stadium comes alive with yoga, group workouts, and outdoor sports activities. Offerings range from the Yoga Common Protocol, the official sequence linked to the International Day of Yoga, to functional training formats and the presentation of the YogaStenix method, which combines yoga, calisthenics, and functional movement into a single discipline designed for longevity, balance, and body awareness.
VITA ON dedicates ample space to inclusion and Paralympic sport, with the involvement of the Italian Paralympic Committee and FISPES. Activities include wheelchair rugby demonstrations and the "Dentro la guida" (Inside the Guide) experience, which allows the public to step into the role of a guide for visually impaired athletes. There are also opportunities to meet Olympic and Paralympic athletes, who serve as ambassadors for sport as a tool for health, empowerment, and participation.
Hosted at the Foro Italico, one of the iconic sports venues in Rome and the Lazio region, VITA ON brings together institutions, the scientific community, healthcare providers, and associations around a single message: movement as the key to wellness and prevention. With the patronage of national and local bodies and the participation of guests from the worlds of sport and entertainment, the event confirms itself as a free appointment open to all citizens, in the name of a healthier and more conscious lifestyle.
The 2026 edition of VITA ON took place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Stadio dei Marmi "Pietro Mennea" of the Foro Italico in Rome, with free admission all day and over two thousand attendees expected.
The event, conceived and organized by Luca Amitrano, saw the collaboration of the Italian Red Cross, CONI Lazio, the Italian Paralympic Committee, FISPES, and the University of Rome "Foro Italico", with the patronage of national and local bodies.
