Nine days of free music, art, and entertainment in Porto Cesareo
Vista Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events on the Salento Ionian coast. Every year, it transforms Porto Cesareo, in the province of Lecce, into a massive open-air stage by the sea, offering nine days of music, art, entertainment, and social gatherings—all completely free of charge. Organized by Four Promotion in collaboration with the local municipal administration, the festival was born in 2023 and has quickly become a cornerstone of the Puglian summer.
The heart of the festival is the expansive public space of Parcheggio Dune, overlooking the picturesque Dune bay, just a short walk from the beaches of Porto Cesareo. This is where the main stage, performance areas, guest zones, and food stalls are set up, creating an immersive backdrop designed to welcome thousands of visitors every evening.
The Vista Festival program is intentionally eclectic and multidisciplinary: it ranges from Salento reggae and dancehall to indie rock, from traditional pizzica-taranta world music to massive 90s revivals, as well as DJ sets and dance parties. Each day features a different theme and format to engage diverse audiences and showcase both local talent and renowned national artists.
Beyond the music, Vista Festival focuses on promoting the local area, sustainability, and social commitment, with moments dedicated to culture, solidarity, and the tourism development of Porto Cesareo and Salento. Its free admission and seaside location make it a popular, family-friendly event that attracts both residents and tourists at the height of the Puglian summer season.
The 2026 edition of Vista Festival takes place from July 11 to 19 in Porto Cesareo, on the Ionian coast of Salento. Nine days of concerts, DJ sets, shows, and themed events, all with free admission, will bring Parcheggio Dune to life with a program designed for every type of audience.
It kicks off on Saturday, July 11, with the Open Party featuring Sud Sound System, followed by the Indie Rock Night, the Kawabonga Power Day, the Nostalgia 90 evening, the World Experience of Antonio Castrignanò, and 'Made in Salento' with Après La Classe. The grand finale takes place on Sunday, July 19, with 'La Domenica Italiana' and the Bar Italia format. There will also be a food and wine area with typical Salento flavors and moments dedicated to social causes, such as the talk on cancer prevention.
Porto Cesareo is located on the Ionian coast of Salento, in the province of Lecce. By car, it can be reached via the SS101 Lecce-Gallipoli road (exit for Porto Cesareo) or via the Ionian coastal road. The nearest train station is Nardò-Centrale (Ferrovie del Sud Est), which connects to Lecce; the reference airport is Brindisi-Salento.
Admission to all shows is free. The festival takes place at Parcheggio Dune. For updates on the full program, please refer to the official website and the festival's social media channels.
