The historic car rally of the Club Officina Ferrarese, featuring culture, flavours, and engines from yesteryear
The Vintage Car Rally of Masi Torello is one of the most anticipated events for historic motoring enthusiasts in the Province of Ferrara. Organised by the Club Officina Ferrarese del Motorismo Storico, an association affiliated with the Italian Historic Car and Motorcycle Club (A.S.I.), the rally takes place every year at the beginning of June in the small municipality of Masi Torello, in Emilia-Romagna, attracting dozens of vintage cars from all over the region.
True to the motto "Culture, flavours, and engines from yesteryear", the event is not a simple static exhibition but a real road itinerary. Starting from the square in front of the Piero Zanardi Nursery School, on Viale Adriatico, the historic cars cover about eighty kilometres along the most scenic roads of the interprovincial territory between Ferrara, Bologna, and Modena, carefully chosen to protect the mechanics of the more delicate vehicles.
The route includes cultural and gastronomic stops that change from year to year: from the official breakfast in San Matteo della Decima to guided tours of balsamic vinegar producers and farm stays in the Modenese area, to historic residences in lower Veneto. It's an opportunity to discover the local food and wine heritage, from Sorbara balsamic vinegar to the typical products of the Po Valley.
Meticulously curated by Carlo Grelewski, the historic soul of the Club, the rally is now a well-established tradition that also involves the Pro Loco and the municipal administration of Masi Torello. Each edition attracts numerous citizens along the town's streets, drawn by the timeless charm of cars that have made the history of Italian and European motoring.
An event that combines a passion for vintage engines with the promotion of the territory and the traditions of the Ferrara lowlands.
The 27th edition of the Vintage Car Rally of Masi Torello was held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, confirming the success of a now historic event for Ferrarese motoring enthusiasts. The edition saw the participation of 60 historic cars and around 120 participants.
After the meeting and registrations starting at 8:00 AM in the square on Viale Adriatico, the cars departed around 9:00 AM along an itinerary of approximately 78 km. The main stops included breakfast in San Matteo della Decima and a guided tour of the Acetaia Paltrinieri in Sorbara (Modena), where the convivial lunch was held.
Total route of approximately 78 km, destination Sorbara (MO).
