Summer Cinema at Villa Sottocasa
In Vimercate (Province of Monza and Brianza), summer concludes with cinema under the stars. The Open-Air Cinema section of the Vimercate Festival — the summer event promoted by the Municipality and known as Festival Sottocasa — brings about thirty films to the picturesque Courtyard of Villa Sottocasa.
A Curated Series
The artistic and organizational direction is entrusted to Bloom Cinema, an organization active in the area that offers a quality program: alongside the major titles of the season, there are special evenings with guests and films selected as part of the national Cinema Revolution initiative, with reduced ticket prices.
The Context: The Vimercate Festival
The Open-Air Cinema is the third event in the summer calendar of the Festival Sottocasa, which runs from late May to late August: the In Giardino section (music and wellness), the In Corte section (theater and music), and finally the August cinema. Everything takes place in the outdoor spaces of Villa Sottocasa, in the center of Vimercate.

The Open-Air Cinema series of the Vimercate Festival (Festival Sottocasa) 2026 takes place from July 11 to August 30 in the Courtyard of Villa Sottocasa, curated by Bloom Cinema. Around thirty films and special evenings with guests make up the summer program.
