The Villaggio di Natale a Piazza Biade is the market that, from late November until Epiphany, transforms one of the most picturesque squares in Vicenza's historic centre into a corner of Christmas magic. Piazza Biade, nestled between Piazza dei Signori and the Basilica Palladiana, hosts the characteristic wooden chalets in an unparalleled monumental setting.

A City-Wide Christmas
Organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Vicenza, the Villaggio di Natale is part of the wider Vicenza Christmas programme, which enlivens the squares and streets of the historic centre. In recent editions, the chalets have also extended to Piazza San Lorenzo, expanding the route through local and national crafts, handmade creations, and food and wine specialities.
Villaggio di Natale Vicenza — edition 2026
For the winter of 2026-2027, the Villaggio di Natale a Piazza Biade will once again animate Vicenza's historic centre, with wooden chalets between Piazza dei Signori and the Basilica Palladiana. Following the pattern of previous editions (in 2025 from November 28th to January 4th), the market is expected from late November 2026 until Epiphany. Precise dates and a detailed programme will be announced by the Municipality of Vicenza in the autumn months.

How to get there
Piazza Biade is in Vicenza's pedestrian historic centre, a few minutes' walk from the train station. By car, take the Vicenza Ovest and Est exits from the A4 motorway, with parking available near the centre.
Admission
Access to the market is free. Typical hours: Monday to Thursday 10 am-7 pm, Friday, Saturday, and holidays 10 am-9 pm, Sunday 10 am-8 pm.
