Christmas in Vicenza transforms the historic centre—a UNESCO World Heritage site for Andrea Palladio's architecture—into a scene of lights and festive atmospheres. The heart of the markets are Corso Palladio and Piazza dei Signori, at the foot of the majestic Basilica Palladiana, where chalets offer artisan products, handmade items, antiques, and local food and wine specialties.
Santa Claus and the Village
In Piazza San Lorenzo, Santa Claus's chalet welcomes children to deliver letters and take a souvenir photo, next to a creative village with workshops, meetings, and shows. The streets of the centre are filled with illuminations and a packed calendar of events that also involves the city's neighbourhoods.
A Celebration for the Whole City
Organised by the Municipality of Vicenza with Confcommercio, Christmas in Vicenza combines shopping, tradition, and fun for families and visitors, with light shows, markets, and widespread initiatives. An opportunity to discover the charm of the Berica city during the most evocative time of the year, amidst its monumental squares and festively decorated streets.

Christmas in Vicenza returns in December 2026 to light up the Palladian historic centre with markets, illuminations, and festive initiatives.
Along Corso Palladio and in Piazza dei Signori, at the foot of the Basilica Palladiana, the chalets offer artisan products, gift ideas, and typical gastronomy; in Piazza San Lorenzo, Santa's chalet welcomes children, alongside a creative village with workshops and shows. Vicenza's historic centre is a short walk from the train station. It's advisable to use the car parks surrounding the centre, some of which are pedestrianised during the holidays.
