Quality boating in the unique setting of the Arsenal, between yachts, sailing, and the Blue Economy
The Venice Boat Show is held within the Arsenal, the immense complex that for centuries was the shipyard of the Most Serene Republic and is today one of the city's most powerful symbols. Organized by Vela Spa on behalf of the Municipality of Venice, the event has transformed the ancient basins and docks into a floating showcase of quality boating in just a few years.
In the waters and along the docks — over a kilometer of walkways — more than 300 boats are moored: yachts, catamarans, motorboats, sailboats, traditional gozzi, and new electric-powered units. About 270 exhibitors from Italy, Europe, and the Mediterranean present shipyards, accessories, technologies, and services.
A central theme of the Show is sustainable boating: electric water mobility, new materials, and the maritime economy. The program alternates static exhibitions and on-water trials with regattas, technical demonstrations, institutional meetings, workshops, and labs, with events also dedicated to families and children.
The Boat Show has become one of the flagship events in the calendar for Venice and the Veneto region, capable of attracting thousands of visitors and bringing the Arsenal back to the center of city life, restoring the city's deep connection with the sea.
The seventh edition of the Venice Boat Show took place from May 27 to 31, 2026, in the waters and pavilions of the Arsenal. Showcased were over 300 boats — yachts, catamarans, motorboats, sailboats, and electric units — and about 270 exhibitors from Italy, Europe, and the Mediterranean, along more than a kilometer of docks. The program alternated in-water exhibitions, regattas, technical demonstrations, meetings on the Blue Economy, and activities for families.
