About International Organ Festival

The International Organ Festival of Cavallino-Treporti, in the province of Venice, enhances the great Venetian organ tradition with a season of concerts held in the churches of Santissima Trinità in Treporti and Santa Maria Elisabetta in Cavallino. Featuring historic organs from the Pietro Bazzani school and Italian and international organists, in a journey spanning from ancient music to contemporary compositions. The concerts, with free admission, accompany the spring and summer of the coast.

The organ at the heart of the coast

The International Organ Festival of Cavallino-Treporti, in the province of Venice, was created to enhance the great Venetian organ tradition and the precious instruments housed in the churches of the area. The festival has established itself as a reference point in the Italian and European musical scene dedicated to the organ.

Two churches, two Bazzani organs

The concerts are held in the Archpriestal Church of the Santissima Trinità in Treporti and the Church of Santa Maria Elisabetta in Cavallino. Both house highly valuable instruments from the Pietro Bazzani school: a 19th-century organ and a restored 18th-century one, true protagonists of the festival.

An international program

The festival alternates internationally renowned organists with young Italian talents, with a program that spans the organ repertoire from ancient music to contemporary. The artistic direction is entrusted to Roberto Bertuzzi, with the coordination of the Turia Battistella Association and the promotion of the Municipality together with local parishes.

Music for everyone

The concerts, with free admission subject to availability, offer residents and tourists of the Venetian coast an opportunity to discover the area's organ heritage in highly evocative settings.
