The Valtellina arrives on Lake Iseo

The Valtellina Cuisine Festival, also known as Valtellina Food Festival, is the gastronomic celebration that, at the end of May, brings the flavors of the Lombardy mountains to the Parco Comunale Oselanda in Paratico, on the Brescia side of Lake Iseo, in the province of Brescia. A curious and successful blend of Valtellina alpine tradition and the lakeside setting of Sebino.

The flavors of the Valtellina table

The stars are the dishes that have made Valtellina cuisine famous: pizzoccheri, sciatt, polenta taragna, alpine cheeses, and the great mountain cured meats. The kitchen opens every evening, offering visitors the chance to taste specialties that are rarely found so far south of the valleys, in a popular festival atmosphere.

Three evenings, three atmospheres

The program alternates between taste and entertainment. The first evening is dedicated to live music, with a tribute to one of the most beloved names in Italian rock performed by Banda Liga; on Saturday, the party gets sportier, with the Champions League final projected on a big screen; Sunday closes with hip-hop music, confirming the event's cross-cutting and popular nature.

With free admission and organized with the support of the local area, the Valtellina Cuisine Festival is designed for families, food lovers, and fans. For those visiting Lake Iseo at the end of spring, it's an opportunity to discover the flavors of Valtellina without leaving the Brescia shore, in the green setting of Parco Oselanda in Paratico.
