In Valprato Soana, a tiny village nestled in the Soana Valley in the province of Turin, the Children's Carnival is the event that officially kicks off the valley's carnival season. The decision to hold the festivities earlier than the traditional dates stems from the desire to give children a special moment of their own before the Soana Valley Carnival gets into full swing with float parades and masquerade balls.

The afternoon revolves around the great classics of the children's Carnival:

In the following days, the festivities continue with the traditional valley Carnival, featuring masquerade dinners, lunches based on local dishes, and the parade of allegorical floats.
