Paolo Jannacci & Band in the square of Pianello Val Tidone
The Val Tidone Festival returns in the summer of 2026 with its 28th edition, bringing one of the most anticipated concerts of the program to Piazza Umberto I in Pianello Val Tidone (province of Piacenza, in Emilia-Romagna): Paolo Jannacci & Band with the show "Jannacci surrender! The city listens". The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting at 9:15 PM, with free admission until all seats are occupied.
Pianist, composer, and singer-songwriter Paolo Jannacci presents a concert that blends his own original compositions with a heartfelt tribute to the great tradition of Italian singer-songwriters. The setlist includes songs by his father Enzo Jannacci, as well as pieces by artists such as Luigi Tenco and Paolo Conte, in a journey that alternates irony, poetry, and depth.
Organized by the Val Tidone Musica Foundation and artistically directed by Livio Bollani, the Val Tidone Festival is a historic event that brings great music to the villages and squares of Val Tidone and Val Luretta. The 2026 edition features 17 concerts involving all twelve municipalities of the district along with Piacenza, with a program ranging from jazz to singer-songwriter music, from classical to pop. Artists such as Nada, Danilo Rea, Raphael Gualazzi, Petra Magoni, and Dirotta su Cuba are among the season's performers.
The Municipality of Pianello Val Tidone is located in the heart of the Piacenza Val Tidone, a land of hills, vineyards, and ancient villages. The setting of Piazza Umberto I, enlivened by the fortress and the historic center, offers a suggestive backdrop for an evening of outdoor music. The festival confirms the territory's vocation for combining culture, food and wine, and landscape, in one of the most fascinating areas of Emilia-Romagna.
Like all summer events of the Val Tidone Festival, the concert is free admission until seats are full and no reservation is required. It is advisable to arrive early to secure a seat.
