On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 9:00 PM, the Teatro Caio Melisso in Spoleto will host one of the most anticipated events of the Umbria Green Festival: for the first time in Umbria, the twelve finalists of the 80th edition of the Strega Prize will be presented to the public.
The candidates â Maria Attanasio, Ermanno Cavazzoni, Teresa Ciabatti, Mauro Covacich, Michele Mari, Matteo Nucci, Alcide Pierantozzi, Bianca Pitzorno, Christian Raimo, Elena Rui, Nadeesha Uyangoda, and Marco Vichi â will dialogue with Loredana Lipperini about their respective books in competition. The evening is part of the festival's broader 2026 program, which also features guests such as Alessandro Baricco, Stefano Mancuso, Paolo Fresu, Umberto Galimberti, Stefania Auci, and Franco Arminio.
