The Trofeo Adriatico is a traditional regatta dedicated to the Dinghy class, the elegant one-design dinghy loved by sailors of all ages. Organized by the Circolo Nautico Chioggia, in the province of Venice, it is one of the historic events of sailing in Chioggia.
From 1968 to today
The first edition of the Trofeo Adriatico dates back to 1968, making it one of the longest-running sailing events in the lagoon city. More than half a century of history that testifies to the deep bond between Chioggia and sailing, and in particular the affection of the local sailing community for the Dinghy class.

The regatta takes place in the sea off Chioggia, on the Adriatic, and brings together the Dinghy fleet in a challenge that combines technique, tradition, and passion for one of the most fascinating dinghies in the Italian sailing scene.
Trofeo Adriatico — edition 2026
The Trofeo Adriatico 2026 is scheduled for August 22-23, as confirmed by the 2026 Chioggia sailing calendar, and is dedicated to the Dinghy fleet, organized by the Circolo Nautico Chioggia.
The regatta, one of the oldest in local sailing (first edition in 1968), takes place in the sea off Chioggia, on the Adriatic, bringing together the Dinghy fleet in a challenge that combines technique and tradition.

How to get there
Chioggia is reachable by car via the SS309 Romea. By train to Venice or Rovigo, then by bus. The regatta can be watched from the harbor banks and the breakwater.
