Three nights of street food, music, and entertainment in the village of Trivigliano, in the Ciociaria region
The Trivigliano Street Food Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in the Ciociaria region. Launched in 2023 by the local Pro Loco, it has quickly become a mid-July ritual for this village in the province of Frosinone, Lazio, perched among the Ernici Mountains just a stone's throw from Lake Canterno. For three consecutive evenings, Via Giuseppe Petochi—the road leading to the Castle entrance in the historic center—fills with food trucks, culinary stands, delicious aromas, and music until late at night.
The heart of the event lies in the dozens of stands and food trucks arriving from various Italian regions, offering everything from authentic regional specialties and gourmet twists to international street food. Signature sandwiches, fried delicacies, grilled meats, desserts, and craft beers create a culinary trail designed to satisfy everyone, from families to groups of friends. It is the perfect opportunity to taste flavors from all over Italy in a single evening, set against the intimate and authentic backdrop of a Ciociarian village.
Alongside the food, the festival offers an entertainment program that changes every evening: DJ sets, themed disco shows, folk music remixed with electronic beats, and the highly popular "Trivigliano's Got Talent," the village talent show that brings singers, dancers, and performers of all ages to the stage. The formula is that of a modern town square festival: free, informal, and inclusive, attracting crowds from across the province of Frosinone and the Castelli Romani area.
For the Municipality of Trivigliano, with just over 1,700 inhabitants, the festival is much more than a food fair: it is the moment when the historic center comes alive, with craft markets, photo booths, and streets buzzing until late. The Pro Loco, always active in promoting local traditions, takes care of every detail of the guest experience, from free parking to the shuttle service connecting parking areas to the festival entrance.
Visitors to the Ciociaria in mid-July will find an easy and genuine evening in Trivigliano: arrive at sunset, dine among the stands from 6:30 PM onwards, and stay for the music, with the illuminated village serving as a natural backdrop to the festivities.
From July 17 to 19, 2026, Trivigliano hosts the fourth edition of its Street Food Festival, announced by the Pro Loco as "the craziest, tastiest, and most unmissable festival of the summer." The village in the province of Frosinone opens its evenings from 6:30 PM along Via Giuseppe Petochi, at the entrance to the Castle, with street food stands, markets, DJ sets, a photo area, and free parking and shuttle service.
A different theme each night on stage: Friday, July 17 at 10:00 PM kicks off with "90 all'ora," a disco music show entirely dedicated to the nineties; Saturday, July 18 features "Folk and Dance," a tarantella remix show blending folk music with electronic sounds; Sunday, July 19 is the grand finale with "Trivigliano's Got Talent," the talent show bringing singers, dancers, performers, and artists of all ages to the stage, amidst applause and surprises. Throughout the event, food stands, markets, and the festive atmosphere of the village remain the main attractions.
Public services: free parking and shuttle to the festival area.
Via Giuseppe Petochi, Castle entrance, historic center of Trivigliano (FR). Three evenings in mid-July; stands open from 6:30 PM, evening shows start around 10:00 PM.
Free. You only pay for what you consume at the stands.
By car: from Rome or Frosinone, take the A1 motorway, exit at Ferentino, then follow signs for Fiuggi and Trivigliano (about 15 minutes from the exit). Free parking with a shuttle service to the festival area. The most convenient train station is Anagni-Fiuggi; from there, continue by car or taxi.
Hillside evenings can be cool even in July: a sweatshirt is recommended. On weekends, the area gets busy after 9:00 PM, so it is better to arrive early for dinner. Fiuggi, with its thermal baths, is just a few kilometers away for those wishing to extend their visit.
