A winter treffen in the heart of Sicily

The Trinakriatreffen is a non-competitive winter motorcycle rally held at Valle Maria, within the evocative Bosco della Ficuzza, in the municipality of Godrano, in the province of Palermo (Sicily). Regarded as one of the most unique winter "treffen" in Southern Italy, it brings together motorcycle enthusiasts and adventure campers every year for a weekend of freedom and connection with nature.

The spirit of the rally

Unlike competitive rallies, the Trinakriatreffen features no races or rankings: the heart of the event is sharing. Tents pitched next to bikes, fires lit in the night, local food, music, and travel tales exchanged around bonfires form the soul of this gathering. It is an opportunity for riders to meet, share miles and experiences, and enjoy the charm of the Sicilian winter in the woods.

An event with international appeal

Despite taking place in the middle of winter, the Trinakriatreffen attracts participants not only from all over Italy but also from Northern Europe and other countries, drawn by the unique atmosphere and Sicily's relatively mild climate compared to winter rallies in Central and Northern Europe. This has given it an international dimension over the years, making it a recognized fixture on the winter rally calendar.

The setting: Bosco della Ficuzza

The backdrop for the rally is one of Sicily's most beautiful natural areas: the Bosco della Ficuzza, an ancient Bourbon hunting reserve at the foot of Rocca Busambra, now a protected Nature Reserve. Oak forests, trails, and wide-open spaces make Valle Maria, in Godrano, the ideal location for motorcycle camping in total immersion within the nature of the Sicani Mountains.
