The Tribano Asparagus Festival is one of the most deeply rooted gastronomic events in the Veneto region, dedicated to a product that symbolizes the territory: asparagus, both white and green, cultivated in the countryside of the Bassa padovana. The festival takes place in the Feste area on via Deledda, in the municipality of Tribano, in the province of Padova, and is distinguished by its unusually long duration, covering a good part of May.
Much more than a food festival
Promoted by the Pro Loco Tribano in collaboration with the Municipality and with the patronage of the Province of Padova, the event is not limited to the food stand. The program actually combines cultural, sporting, and educational events: bike rides through the fields, conferences on slow tourism and agriculture, photographic exhibitions, screenings of documentaries dedicated to the history and identity of the town, and moments of celebration for volunteers.

The culinary heart of the festival is the food stand, where asparagus becomes the star of traditional dishes, from appetizers to first courses and main courses. The stand is open every evening of the event, with Sunday lunches also available by reservation. The Asparagus Festival is thus an opportunity to rediscover the authentic flavours of the Bassa padovana and the strong sense of community that has animated Tribano for decades around its most iconic product.
Asparagus Festival — edition 2026
The forty-third edition of the Tribano Asparagus Festival enlivens the entire month of May 2026. The food stand, in the Feste area on via Deledda, is open on the evenings of the three main weekends (May 1-2-3, 9-10, and 16-17), with Sunday lunches also available by reservation. Alongside the gastronomic days, a packed program of cultural and educational events unfolds.
The festival is promoted by the Municipality of Tribano in collaboration with Pro Loco Tribano and is sponsored by the Province of Padova. The white and green asparagus of the Bassa padovana remains the absolute protagonist.

How to get there
Tribano is located in the Bassa padovana, reachable by car from the SS16 and from the provincial roads connecting Padova to Monselice and Rovigo. The Feste area is on via Deledda.
Food stand
