TreComics: Comics and Pop Culture in Trecate

Over the weekend of June 27th and 28th, 2026, the Cortile delle Magnolie at Villa Cicogna in Trecate, located in the heart of the Province of Novara (Piedmont), will host TreComics, a festival dedicated to the world of comics, cosplay, and pop culture. The event is organized by Pro Loco Trecate APS and carries on the legacy of the nerd-themed gatherings that have enlivened the villa's park for years, featuring exhibitions, meet-and-greets with authors, costume contests, and activities for all ages.

What to Expect

TreComics is designed as a large community celebration centered around a passion for comics, manga, video games, and pop culture. Among the areas and activities featured at the event, you will find:

• the cosplay contest, the true highlight of Sunday, where fans parade in the costumes of their favorite characters;
• special guests from the cosplay world and creators meeting the public;
• evening shows and entertainment that bring the villa to life;
• driving simulators and gaming stations for video game enthusiasts;
• spaces designed for families and children, all in a welcoming and informal atmosphere.

A Unique Setting: Villa Cicogna

The festival venue is one of Trecate's most iconic landmarks: Villa Cicogna, with its park and the evocative Cortile delle Magnolie. This green, historic backdrop sets TreComics apart from traditional pavilion-based fairs, offering visitors an outdoor experience immersed in nature, just a few kilometers from Novara and the border with Lombardy.

Promoted by Pro Loco Trecate APS with the support of the Municipality of Trecate, TreComics is also an opportunity to experience the city and its surrounding area. The event is part of the traditional summer calendar of Trecate, successfully blending a passion for pop culture with the promotion of the Novara and Piedmont region.
