An ultra-trail through the Little Dolomites
Trans d'Havet is one of the most challenging trail running races in the Veneto region: it crosses the ridges and passes of the Piccole Dolomiti (Little Dolomites) and the Carega Group, concluding in Valdagno, in the province of Vicenza. The name recalls the famous equipped mountaineering trail in the area.
Three routes, one mountain
The event offers three distances:
- Ultra 80K — from Piovene Rocchette to Valdagno, approximately 80 km and 5500 meters of positive elevation gain, with a midnight start to tackle the night at altitude;
- Recoaro Marathon 42K — from Recoaro Terme to Valdagno, approximately 42 km and 2700 meters of elevation gain;
- Montefalcone Half 24K — from Recoaro Terme to Valdagno, approximately 24 km and 1500 meters of elevation gain.
Ridges, refuges, and passes
The Ultra route touches iconic places in the Vicenza Prealps — Cima Summano, Passo Xomo, Rifugio Papa, Pian delle Fugazze, Rifugio Campogrosso, Cima Carega, Rifugio Scalorbi, Passo delle Tre Croci — before the final descent towards Valdagno. A course that rewards endurance and mountain experience, with the finish line welcomed in the city.
Trans d'Havet — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Trans d'Havet is scheduled for July 25th. The Ultra 80K, with 5500 meters of positive elevation gain, starts at 0:00 AM from Piovene Rocchette to tackle the night on the ridges of the Little Dolomites until the finish in Valdagno.
The Recoaro Marathon 42K (2700m D+) and the Montefalcone Half 24K (1500m D+) start instead from Recoaro Terme, always with arrival in Valdagno. Registrations are open from March 16th to July 17th, 2026.

- 10:20 PM - 10:50 PM — Shuttles from Valdagno to Piovene Rocchette (Ultra 80K)
- 11:30 PM — Gathering at the start of the Ultra 80K in Piovene Rocchette
- 0:00 AM — Start of Ultra 80K (80 km, 5500 m D+) towards Valdagno via Cima Summano, Passo Xomo, Rifugio Papa, Pian delle Fugazze, Rifugio Campogrosso, Cima Carega, Rifugio Scalorbi, Passo delle Tre Croci
- Morning — Starts of Recoaro Marathon 42K and Montefalcone Half 24K from Recoaro Terme
- From 10:00 AM — First arrivals in Valdagno; changing rooms, showers, and refreshments for athletes
- 6:00 PM — Awards ceremony in Valdagno

How to get there
The finish is in Valdagno (VI), reachable via the SP246 of the Agno Valley and the Vicenza-Valdagno railway. The starts are in Piovene Rocchette (Ultra 80K) and Recoaro Terme (Marathon and Half), with a shuttle service from Valdagno for the Ultra.
When
The 2026 edition is scheduled for July 25th: the Ultra 80K starts at 0:00 AM from Piovene Rocchette; the first arrivals in Valdagno are expected around 10:00 AM, with awards at 6:00 PM.
Registration and fees
