Historic cars climb to altitude
Historic at Altitude 1000 is one of the most prestigious vintage vehicle rallies in the Northeast, organized by Historic Club Schio, an association from Alto Vicentino in the province of Vicenza, federated with the Italian Historic Automobile Club (ASI). Founded in 1992, the event is now included in the ASI calendar as a tourist event.
A route through the Dolomites
The heart of the rally is a fascinating itinerary through the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its base around 1000 meters altitude. The scenic mountain roads, free from tourist traffic, offer breathtaking landscapes and alpine villages where you can discover local scents and flavors, while the vintage cars navigate curves and hairpin bends.

The 29th edition of Historic at Altitude 1000 takes historic cars from Historic Club Schio through the Dolomites from September 11 to 13, 2026. Included in the ASI calendar as a tourist event, the rally features a route of approximately 250 km on Saturday and 100 km on Sunday, with its base around 1000 meters altitude, amidst mountain landscapes and alpine villages. How to get there
The start is in Schio, in Alto Vicentino, province of Vicenza. By car: Thiene-Schio highway exit (A31 Valdastico). The route develops towards the Dolomites.
