Wine, taste and art in the Renaissance village

Tra Arte e Degustazione is one of the most beloved food and wine events in the Varese area, organised by the Pro Loco Castiglione Olona in the heart of the Renaissance village. For one evening, the Ancient Village of Castiglione Olona - that "Island of Tuscany" in Lombardy land desired by Cardinal Branda Castiglioni - transforms into a widespread path of tastings, art and music that winds from the central Piazza Garibaldi to Monteruzzo Castle.

About thirty wineries

The heart of the event is the tasting stands: about thirty wineries present fine wines and labels from various Italian regions, alongside gastronomic specialities designed to enhance pairings. Visitors stroll through the village streets with a glass in hand, from one stand to another, discovering quality products in a unique historical setting.

Art and museums open until evening

The event is not just about food and wine: the town's museums remain open until late evening, offering exclusive evening tours of the village's treasures, while photographic exhibitions, artists and music accompany the evening. This is the hallmark of Tra Arte e Degustazione: the encounter between the pleasure of the table and the richness of the artistic heritage of Castiglione Olona, in the heart of the province of Varese.

A highly anticipated festival

Now in its fourteenth edition, the event is a classic of the Castiglione spring-summer calendar, capable of attracting thousands of visitors from all over Lombardy. The Pro Loco coordinates wineries, food stands and the cultural programme, in collaboration with the Municipality.
