Three days of tradition in Valceresio

The Festa delle Arti, dei Sapori e della Cultura is the grand festival that annually enlivens the Parco Lagozza in Arcisate, province of Varese, celebrating the agricultural and gastronomic identity of Valceresio. For three days, the park fills with aromas, music, and traditions, in a free-admission event designed for families, food enthusiasts, and music lovers.

The Ciumm, woodcutters, and vintage tractors

The signature dish is the Ciumm, the typical salami of Arcisate, offered at the food stands and featured in the 'Laboratorio del Ciumm' (Ciumm Workshop), live demonstrations of its preparation. Among the most spectacular attractions is the international woodcutters' competition, with athletes from abroad, alongside the parade of vintage tractors and Fiat 500s and the artisans' market with local products. For the little ones, traditional games, workshops, and introductory horse riding ('battesimo della sella').

Music and local culture

The evenings are animated by live concerts of various genres, from rock to pop to brass bands, with moments also dedicated to younger audiences. The festival, organized by Arcisate Cultura, is much more than a sagra (local festival); it's an opportunity to rediscover the rural heritage and cultural identity of Valceresio, in an event that combines taste, entertainment, and community.
