Tour del Palato of Prun

A walk through taste and nature

The Tour del Palato is a food and wine walk that takes place in Prun, a hilly hamlet of Negrar di Valpolicella, a municipality in the province of Verona. The route, about 8 km and of medium difficulty, crosses historic and scenic trails through the hills of Valpolicella and the foothills of Lessinia, accompanied by local experts.

Tastings and stone quarries

Along the route, there are several refreshment stops where you can taste the region's signature wines — Valpolicella DOC, Ripasso, and Recioto — paired with local products. One of the most evocative moments is the visit to the Preare di Prun, ancient tunnel quarries dug into the stone: evidence of the extractive heritage of this area, where for centuries the famous Lessinia stone, the 'lastame', was quarried.

A solidarity event

The Tour del Palato is not just a walk through flavors and landscapes: it is also a solidarity event, organized by the Prun committee with the involvement of the local community. It combines the discovery of the Valpolicella territory — with its history, its quarries, and its wines — with a charitable dimension, in an authentic and immersive experience in nature.
