The Torresina Street Food Tour is the annual March event that turns the Torresina district in Rome's 14th Municipality into a true open-air gourmet village. For an entire weekend, the large parking area on Viale Indro Montanelli, bordering the greenery of Casal del Marmo Park, becomes what the organizers love to call the Capital's largest open-air restaurant.
The event is part of the traveling TTS Food circuit and has recently become the season opener for gastronomic events in the Lazio region, serving as the inaugural stop before moving on to other districts and cities across Italy.
Twenty street chefs and the paths of taste
At the heart of the event are twenty selected street chefs, arranged in two opposing rows to create evocative "paths of taste" where you can savor different dishes at every step. The culinary selection blends Italian regional excellence with global flavors:
- Sicilian specialties like arancine and cannoli;
- Puglian bombette and Abruzzese arrosticini;
- Traditional fried foods like olive all'ascolana;
- International cuisine including Mexican tacos, American BBQ, Spanish paella, Argentine asado, and Indian dishes;
- A wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, plus artisanal desserts.
Beers, cocktails, and festival vibes
The center of the area features a DJ booth and dedicated beverage stations: from unfiltered raw beer by the Landshuter Brauhaus brewery to signature cocktails by Drink Lab, as well as spritzes and wines. During the day, shaded zones and ample seating invite families to relax; by night, lighting displays and music turn the gourmet stroll into a festive celebration.

With free admission and a convenient location in the north-western quadrant of Rome, the Torresina Street Food Tour is designed as a convivial occasion for everyone: couples, groups of friends, and families with children can wander among the food trucks, choose dishes from around the world, and enjoy a few hours of flavor and music in Lazio without leaving the city.
Torresina Street Food — edition 2026
The 2026 edition was held from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22 in the Viale Indro Montanelli parking area, in the Torresina district. The formula of the large street food village was confirmed, featuring twenty street chefs arranged in two opposing rows, a central DJ booth, and stations dedicated to beers, cocktails, and wines. It served as the inaugural stage of the 2026 TTS Food tour season.

What was on the menu
Twenty selected street chefs offered Italian regional and international specialties: Sicilian arancine, Puglian bombette, Abruzzese arrosticini, olive all'ascolana, Mexican tacos, American BBQ, Spanish paella, Argentine asado, and Indian dishes, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options and artisanal desserts. Participating operators included: A Tutto Mais (gluten-free), Alla Rueda (paella and patatas bravas), Bizzi (arrosticini), Indian Curry Street, Ao!, and Italian's BBQ.
Drinks and music
Stations featured unfiltered raw beer from the Landshuter Brauhaus brewery, cocktails from the Drink Lab in collaboration with Campari Group, spritzes, and wines, all accompanied by music and, in the evening, lighting displays.

How to get there
The event takes place in the parking area of Viale Indro Montanelli, in the Torresina district (14th Municipality), in the north-western area of Rome, near Casal del Marmo Park. By car, it can be reached via Via Trionfale and the Grande Raccordo Anulare (north-west quadrant exits); parking areas are available nearby. By public transport, use the ATAC bus lines serving Torresina and the surrounding neighborhoods.
