Tombolo's September Festival

The Tombolo Village Festival is the village festival that closes the summer in Tombolo, a municipality in the province of Padua. It takes place at the beginning of September in Piazza Pio X, the heart of the town, and spans five days of music, food, and fun for all ages.

The Meat Festival

The highlight of the festival is the Meat Festival: the food stand offers grilled meat in all its forms, from steaks to BBQ ribs, to horse steaks, a much-loved specialty in Venetian tradition. The grills fire up every evening from 7:00 PM, accompanied by side dishes, first courses, and desserts.

Funfair, concerts, and DJ sets

Alongside the dining, the square hosts the funfair for the little ones and an evening program of concerts and DJ sets that get both adults and kids dancing. It's the tried-and-tested formula of Venetian festivals, where taste, music, and social interaction intertwine in the convivial atmosphere of late summer.

A Community Celebration

The Village Festival is organized by the Pro Loco of Tombolo together with local associations, including Eclettica and Insieme per il bene comune. The result of volunteers' work, it represents one of the most important gathering moments of the year for the town and for the neighboring municipalities of the Cittadella area, in the province of Padua.
