The comedy and charity evening in Bracciano supporting pediatric oncology
Ti Fa.Ró Ridere is the most anticipated summer event hosted by the Fa.Rò Onlus association in Bracciano, in the heart of the Lazio region and the Metropolitan City of Rome. Every year, towards the end of August, the town's Public Garden transforms into a large open-air stage where cabaret, comedy, and live music serve a noble cause: the fight against childhood cancer.
Founded on November 18, 2010, the Fa.Rò association takes its name from Roberta Faiola and her battle against illness. Since then, the goal has remained the same: to raise funds for the Pediatric Oncology Department of the National Cancer Institute of Milan and the LILT (Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer). Alongside fundraising, the association carries out solidarity projects and support activities for the families of children undergoing treatment.
Ti Fa.Ró Ridere is more than just a show: it is a village festival in the truest sense. Throughout the evening, there is a mix of entertainment and games for children, a food stall run by volunteers and local partners, musical performances by local bands, and the highlight of the night: a cabaret show featuring guest comedians. All this takes place in the warm, familiar atmosphere typical of the villages around Lake Bracciano.
Set in one of the most fascinating villages in Lazio, the evening is also an opportunity to discover Bracciano, dominated by the imposing Odescalchi Castle and overlooking a volcanic lake beloved by Romans seeking relief from the summer heat. Attending Ti Fa.Ró Ridere means experiencing the authenticity of the Roman province, where solidarity becomes a shared celebration.
Join us on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Public Garden of Bracciano for the fifteenth edition of Ti Fa.Ró Ridere. As per tradition, the evening organized by the Fa.Rò Onlus association will feature a mix of comedy, live music, and activities for children, with all proceeds donated to the fight against childhood cancer. The detailed program, including guest artists, will be announced by the organizers in the weeks leading up to the event.
The event takes place at the Public Garden of Bracciano (RM), postal code 00062, in the center of the village overlooking the lake.
By car: Bracciano is about 40 km from Rome; from Rome, it can be reached via the SS493 Braccianese road or the Aurelia road, taking the exit towards the lake. By train: the Bracciano station is served by the FL3 regional line (Rome Ostiense–Viterbo), with frequent connections from the capital.
Access is by free-will donation: all proceeds are entirely donated to the Fa.Rò association to support pediatric oncology.
As this is an open-air evening event in late August, light clothing is recommended, along with an extra layer for the night. Plenty of food and drink options are available thanks to the on-site food stall.
