The Saint Peter's Festival in Viadana
The Long Nights of Saint Peter are one of the most cherished festivals in the Municipality of Viadana, in the Province of Mantua: a neighborhood patronal festival that intertwines the historic Fair of Saints Peter and Paul with the Melon Festival, a typical local product. The event is organized by the Club San Pietro together with the Pro Loco Viadana.
The Melon Takes Center Stage
The heart of the festival is the Viadana melon, celebrated with the presentation of the De.Co. product, gourmet sandwiches, and the award for the best melon. Alongside the melon, the festival's cuisine offers fried dumplings and cured meats, and traditional dishes, served in the squares and streets of the historic center.
Music, Tombola, and Funfair
The evenings are enlivened by live music, the traditional Saint Peter's tombola, and shows, while stalls and markets line the streets of the center. For families, the funfair is a must. A community celebration that has marked the beginning of Viadana's summer for years.

The Long Nights of Saint Peter return to Viadana at the end of June 2026, starting from June 29, combining the Fair of Saints Peter and Paul with the Melon Festival. The festival, organized by Club San Pietro with Pro Loco Viadana, enlivens the historic center for several evenings with fried dumplings and cured meats, live music, the presentation of the De.Co. melon and the award for the best melon, Saint Peter's tombola, stalls, and a funfair.

Throughout the event: fried dumplings and cured meats, stalls in the historic center, and a funfair in Piazzale Libertà.
