The Celestial Night in Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole
The Celestial Night is the event that annually tints the spa towns of Emilia-Romagna with celestial blue, transforming the spas into places of widespread celebration. Promoted by APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna, the initiative involves over twenty spa centers in various locations across the region, with dozens of events designed to celebrate well-being and togetherness. Among the most scenic participants in this network is the Municipality of Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, where the 14th edition takes place from June 26 to 28, 2026 with the theme 'It's a Celebration in the Land of Well-being'.
A Weekend of Spas, Nature, and Culture
The Castrocaro program blends health, landscape, and tradition. The festival opens on Friday with the Open Day of inhalation treatments at the Spas, a free opportunity to discover the benefits of thermal waters, and continues in the evening with the Celestial Dinner on Viale Marconi: a grand open-air dinner with a white and celestial blue dress code and music, transforming the street into a widespread restaurant under the stars.
Saturday is dedicated to the body and nature: meditation and yoga sessions in the evocative Festival Pavilion, the afternoon Slow Walk to discover Sasso Spungone and the Bolga lakes, and the Magic Night with a DJ set, welcome drink, and access to the thermal spa. Sunday concludes the weekend with a guided tour of the Festival Pavilion, an Art Deco jewel by master Tito Chini, a visit to the historic Fortress of Castrocaro with the Rocca, Arsenals, and the Historical-Archaeological Museum, and the Celestial Aperitif on the panoramic terrace.
The Spas of Emilia-Romagna Celebrate
The Celestial Night was created to showcase the great thermal tradition of Emilia-Romagna: a network of springs, parks, and establishments that make the region one of Italy's capitals of thermalism. In Castrocaro, the dimension of well-being is combined with culture, thanks to the Liberty and Art Deco heritage of the Spas and the medieval village of Terra del Sole, a fortified city founded by the Medici. Therefore, the event is both a relaxing experience and an opportunity to discover a little-known corner of the Forlì Apennines.

How to Get There
Castrocaro Terme e Terra del Sole is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena, a few kilometers from Forlì. By car, it can be reached from the A14 motorway (Forlì exit) and then proceeding towards the Apennines. By train, the reference station is Forlì on the Bologna-Rimini line, with bus connections to Castrocaro.
Bookings and Prices
Many events are free (Open Day of inhalation treatments, Celestial Aperitif, visit to the Festival Pavilion). Some activities are paid: Slow Walk 8 euros (free for children up to 12 years old), yoga sessions 20 euros, Magic Night with DJ set 35 euros, visit to the Fortress with a 5 euro supplement.
