The Big Food Festival is the big street food celebration that enlivens Spazio Fase, the event hub created from the former Pigna Paper Mill in Alzano Lombardo, province of Bergamo. For an entire weekend, the vast industrial spaces host over 25 selected food trucks, Italian and international, ready to prepare the best of street food from their colourful vans.
Not just food: beers, music, and entertainment
The event goes beyond gastronomy: alongside the food trucks, there is space for craft beers, workshops, exhibitions, DJ sets, and street bands that accompany the days with music and entertainment. The informal atmosphere and the variety of offerings make the event suitable for everyone, from families to groups of friends, in a format that has won over an ever-increasing audience in the Bergamo area.
Spazio Fase, a reborn factory
The setting is part of the charm: Spazio Fase, created from the redevelopment of the historic paper mill along the Serio river, is now one of the main event venues in the area. Admission to The Big Food Festival is free, with hours extending until late at night on festival days.
The Big Food Festival — edition 2026
The summer 2026 edition of The Big Food Festival takes place at Spazio Fase, in the former Pigna Paper Mill of Alzano Lombardo, from Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17. Over 25 selected food trucks offer the best of Italian and international street food, alongside craft beers, workshops, exhibitions, DJ sets, and street bands. Free admission.
Programme The Big Food Festival 2026
Three days of celebration in the spaces of the former Pigna Paper Mill:
- Friday, July 15: from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM
- Saturday, July 16: from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM
- Sunday, July 17: from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM
Scheduled: over 25 food trucks with Italian and international street food, craft beers, workshops, exhibitions, DJ sets, and live street bands.
Details of the food trucks and musical events will be announced by Spazio Fase closer to the event.

How to get there
Spazio Fase, Via Daniele Pesenti 1, Alzano Lombardo (BG). From Bergamo, it can be reached by car along the Val Seriana or by the T1 Bergamo-Albino tram line (Alzano stop).
Admission and hours
