Every summer, the outdoor arena of Romeo's Castle — the Bellaguardia Castle, in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza) — becomes the stage for the Teatro, Musica & Danza al Castello review. A unique setting, linked to the legend of Juliet and Romeo, which hosts an open-air season of performances throughout July.
A multidisciplinary programme
The programme alternates different genres: from orchestral concerts to author music, from contemporary dance to civil theatre narration. The main review is complemented by other summer concerts in the same location, including opera, rock and blues tributes, making for a month full of offerings for all tastes.
Culture and territory
Organised by the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore in collaboration with the regional circuit Arteven, the review enhances the city's historical heritage by transforming it into a summer stage. It is one of the key cultural events in the West Vicentino area, capable of combining artistic offerings with the discovery of the Scaliger Castles.

The 2026 summer season at the arena of Romeo's Castle features a notable programme, organised by the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore with the Arteven circuit. Four main events are scheduled for the review, spread throughout July, alongside additional concerts spanning opera, rock, and blues.

- 3 July 2026 — Orchestra Accademia del Concerto, conducted by M° Maurizio Fipponi: "From the Bel Paese to Vienna. Romances and music for a summer evening" (Rossini, Donizetti, and Viennese music)
- 10 July 2026 — Frankie Hi-NRG MC in "Faccio la mia cosa" (I do my thing), a narrative of hip hop history through words, music, and video
- 17 July 2026 — itinerant contemporary dance performance in the castle park with the companies EM+, DaCru Dance Company, and Compagnia Naturalis Labor
- 30 July 2026 — Roberto Mercadini in "Little Boy. Incredible and true story of the atomic bomb"
