When Montecchio becomes "Marittima"
For five days in the summer, the ex Boom area on Viale Trieste, in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza), transforms: sand arrives, and a large artificial beach is created in the heart of West Vicenza. This is the idea that gives Montecchio Marittima its name, a summer festival that plays with the seaside imagery far from the sea.
Music, DJs, and Revival
The program is mainly dedicated to music and evening entertainment: concerts, DJ sets with guests, revival nights dedicated to the '90s and 2000s, reggaeton sets, and guest DJs that attract a wide audience, comprising young people and families. Entry is free, with mandatory consumption.
An Established Event
Now in its early editions, the event is organized by Montecchio Marittima srl in collaboration with the Quadratum Association, with the patronage of the Municipality of Montecchio Maggiore and the Veneto Region. It has become one of the most anticipated events of the city's summer.
Montecchio Marittima — edition 2026
Following the previous editions, the ex Boom area in Montecchio Maggiore is expected to host Montecchio Marittima again in summer 2026, with its artificial beach and five evenings of music and fun. The precise dates and program for the 2026 edition have not yet been published and will be announced by the organization and the Municipality.
