Tartufando - Lecce nei Marsi Truffle Festival

The first edition of Tartufando

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, the first Truffle Festival of the town was held in Piazza Monumento in Lecce nei Marsi (AQ). The evening's program began at 5:30 PM with the evocative blessing of the truffle dogs, followed at 6:00 PM by greetings from local authorities, and at 6:30 PM by a practical demonstration of truffle hunting with search dogs.

The heart of the festival was the truffle-based dinner, with a menu that included truffle bruschetta, lasagna with sausage, truffle and saffron, and beef strips with truffle, accompanied by seasonal vegetables, fruit, and water. The dinner, with limited seating, required booking by July 12 through the organizing committee's contacts. A debut designed to become a regular appointment among the excellences of the Marsica region.
