Stringozzo and Porcini Mushroom Festival

The 2025 Stringozzo and Porcini Mushroom Festival took place in early October at the Sports Area of Cascine di Buti (PI), closing the village's summer festival season as it does every year. In 2025, the signature dish was once again stringozzo, fresh handmade pasta, paired with porcini mushrooms from Monte Pisano served fried, in soup, on toasted Tuscan bread, and in boscaiola sauce.

There was no shortage of grilled meats, seasonal side dishes, and local wines, while the evenings concluded with dance music and liscio. A genuine, popular festival that attracted numerous visitors from the Pisan territory, confirming itself as one of the most cherished gastronomic events of the Buti autumn.
