Stragusto – International Street Food Festival

Stragusto 2025 – 17th Edition

The seventeenth edition of Stragusto was held in Trapani from July 23 to 27, 2025, at the Piazza Mercato del Pesce in the historic center. The event, organized by Trapani Welcome together with Pro Loco Trapani Centro and the Municipality of Trapani, animated the city every evening with the best of street food.

Featured specialties included: Trapani-style couscous, takeaway busiate, fresh tuna sandwiches, Nebrodi porchetta, olive ascolane, and traditional Florentine dishes. There was also space for international cuisines—Argentina, Greece, Palestine, and Hungary—and a dedicated gluten-free section. The wine area on the Mura di Tramontana, overlooking the sea, offered a selection of local wineries every evening with the support of sommeliers. The 2025 edition placed particular emphasis on sustainability and the quality of raw ingredients.
