Sixty years of theatre in Brugherio

The Stagione Teatrale del Cinema Teatro San Giuseppe is one of the most established cultural events in Brugherio, in the Province of Monza and Brianza. Now in its 45th edition, it coincides with an important milestone: the 60th anniversary of the town's theatre, a historic landmark for the culture of Brianza.

A nationally significant programme

The season offers a programme ranging from comedy to drama, to musical theatre, with leading performers from the Italian theatre scene. From Neri Marcorè to Alessandro Benvenuti and Marina Massironi, from Cesare Bocci and Vittoria Belvedere to Matthias Martelli, the programme alternates famous titles and new productions.

From November to March

The performances are spread throughout the season, with events continuing into the early months of 2026. Among the titles scheduled are: L'Illusione Coniugale, La Tigre, Indovina Chi Viene a Cena?, Dario Fo's Mistero Buffo, and Rumori Fuori Scena, Michael Frayn's famous comedy. A journey that traverses different genres and registers, from laughter to reflection.
