Edition 2025 — Spring Herb Dinner
Spring 2025 saw the return of the Spring Herb Dinner organized by the Pro Loco of Callabiana, in the Province of Biella. As per tradition, the dinner showcased wild herbs from the Biella meadows in a mountain-style menu, accompanied by local wines.
The evening took place in the Pro Loco hall, the heart of community life in the small mountain village nestled between the Mosso and Andorno valleys. Among the featured dishes were preparations based on watercress, nettles, and wild asparagus, an expression of peasant cuisine passed down from generation to generation.
The event, limited in capacity and requiring mandatory reservations, reaffirmed the village's connection to its Alpine gastronomic identity, in a convivial and family atmosphere typical of these Piedmont valley festivals.
