Spring arrives on Lake Maggiore

The Spring Festival of Luino is one of the most anticipated events of spring on Lake Maggiore. For two days, the lakefront of Luino, in the province of Varese, comes alive from Parco a Lago to Piazza Libertà, filling up with flowers, scents, shows, and activities for all ages.

Four themed pavilions

The festival is divided into four themed pavilions that tell its transversal soul: the Cherry Pavilion dedicated to cosplayers, comics, board and card games; the Iris Pavilion aimed at families, with workshops, games, and readings for children; and other spaces dedicated to floral tradition and holistic wellness. An offering that combines the classic flower festival with new trends in pop culture and wellness.

Markets, flowers, and good food

Among the market stalls, plant and flower exhibitions, music, and local culinary specialties, the Spring Festival is a perfect occasion for a walk along the lakefront and to experience the festive atmosphere of the beginning of the beautiful season. Organized by the Nuova Pro Loco Città di Luino with the patronage of the Municipality, it is a community festival that attracts visitors from all over the province of Varese and the surrounding lake areas.
