About Spring Festival

Every May 1st, the Ethnographic Park of Bosco di Rubano fills with families, children, and associations for the Spring Festival, a day outdoors dedicated to the meeting of generations. Kite workshops, farmyard games, baby dance, puppet shows, inflatables, and live concerts animate the park from morning to evening, in a free event organized by local volunteers.

May Day at the Ethnographic Park

The Spring Festival is the May 1st event for the community of Rubano, in the province of Padua. It takes place at the Ethnographic Park of Bosco di Rubano, a green space dedicated to the memory of Venetian peasant civilization, and transforms the festive day into an occasion for intergenerational outdoor gatherings.

A Day for All Ages

The program is designed primarily for families and children: kite workshops, a children's market, traditional farmyard games, baby dance, face painting, puppet shows, inflatables, and LEGO building competitions. There is also live music and moments dedicated to sport, culture, and the environment, in line with the "Meeting of Generations" spirit that is the guiding theme of the festival.

Volunteering Takes Center Stage

The event is organized by the A.C.V.R. (Coordinating Association of Rubano Volunteers) along with numerous local organizations. Admission is free, and the Osteria al Parco with its food stands is open throughout the day. It is one of the most beloved and long-standing events in Rubano's calendar.
