The festival of active citizenship
The Rubano Associations and Volunteering Festival, in the province of Padua, is the major autumn event dedicated to the local volunteering world. Organized by A.C.V.R. (Rubano Volunteering Coordination Association) with the support of the Municipality and the CSV of Padua and Rovigo, it brings together dozens of local organizations for several days.
Over 40 stands
The heart of the event are the over 40 stands of the associations, which present their activities and projects. The main day, Sunday, gives voice to the entire citizen volunteering scene, with activities for children, exhibitions, a market, workshops, and gathering moments. There are also initiatives related to environmental sustainability, such as the "Together for the Common Good" project.
Solidarity, sport, and music
The festival intertwines the social dimension with the sporting and cultural one, in a three-day program that enhances the associative fabric as a resource for the community. For Rubano, it is an opportunity to recognize and make visible the daily work of those who dedicate their time to others.
Volunteering Festival — edition 2026
In September 2026, Rubano will host a new edition of the Associations and Volunteering Festival, organized by A.C.V.R. with the support of the Municipality and the CSV of Padua and Rovigo. Following the previous editions (the 24th was held from September 19th to 21st), the event will feature over 40 association stands, activities for children, exhibitions, and workshops. The precise dates for 2026 will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.

The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by A.C.V.R. closer to the event. Based on previous editions, the following are planned:
- Over 40 stands of local volunteering associations
- Activities and workshops for children
- Exhibitions and market
- Sports and music events
- Environmental sustainability project "Together for the Common Good"

Rubano is west of Padua along the SS11. By car: exit Padova Ovest (A4). By train to Padua, then bus to Rubano.
