The festival that opens spring in the Oltrepò

The Spring Fair is the traditional village festival of Pietra de' Giorgi, a hilly village in the Oltrepò Pavese region of the province of Pavia. It is held on the first Sunday of May in Piazza Unità d'Italia, from 10 am to 6 pm, and celebrates the arrival of the warmer season with the colours, scents, and flavours of the region.

Vintage tractors and motorcycles

One of the most anticipated events is the spectacular parade of vintage tractors organised by the G.A.T.T.E.O. Club, which brings historic agricultural machinery to the square, testament to the rural heritage of the Oltrepò. Alongside the tractors, there is also an area dedicated to vintage motorcycles for enthusiasts of historic vehicles.

Stalls, wines, and tastings

The fair features stalls selling plants, flowers, crafts, antiques, and food products, as well as costume jewellery. Wine lovers can take advantage of the exhibition and tasting of local wines, the pride of a region famous for its wine production. A bar and refreshment service is available throughout the day.

A day for the whole family

For the little ones, there are plenty of fun activities, including a playground, music, and entertainment. Promoted by the municipality of Pietra de' Giorgi, the Spring Fair is a festival that combines taste, tradition, and conviviality, attracting visitors from all over the Oltrepò Pavese.
