The historic fair of craftsmanship, agriculture, and trade in the heart of the Bassa Parmense
The Soragna Craft, Production, and Trade Exhibition is one of the most deeply rooted trade events in the province of Parma. Reaching its 47th edition in 2026, the event takes place every spring in the historic center of the Municipality of Soragna, in Emilia-Romagna, transforming streets and squares into a large open-air exhibition space dedicated to the region's craftsmanship, agriculture, and trade.
The heart of the Exhibition is represented by stands of local artisans and businesses, alongside the display of agricultural machinery, a traditional element recalling the rural vocation of the Bassa Parmense. Among the offerings are the ASCOM quality market, with selected local products, and the craft market, a showcase of creativity and handmade crafts.
A place of honor is given to the region's gastronomy with the Parmigiano Reggiano Village, set up in collaboration with the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium: here, guided tastings, show cooking, and moments dedicated to learning about the king of cheeses, the symbolic product of the province of Parma, are held. Numerous food stands organized by local associations offer the chance to taste traditional Emilian dishes.
During the fair days, the town's streets host concerts and shows for all ages, with music, entertainment, and initiatives also designed for children. The Soragna Exhibition is therefore both a commercial event and a popular festival, capable of attracting a large number of visitors from Parma and neighboring municipalities each year.
Admission to the Soragna Craft Exhibition is free and open to all. The event is organized by the Soragna Craft and Trade Exhibition Body and is an excellent opportunity to discover the village, dominated by the scenic Rocca Meli Lupi, and to experience the authentic atmosphere of the Bassa Parmense.
The 2026 edition of the Soragna Exhibition confirmed the event's winning formula, enhanced by the novelty of the Craft Tent. Alongside the artisans' stands, agricultural machinery, the ASCOM quality market, and the Parmigiano Reggiano Village, the musical program featured artists such as Gigi l'Altro and Max Pezzali, in a calendar of concerts and shows that animated the center of Soragna. The event, with free admission, saw great public participation from across the province of Parma.
