The Sopressa Vicentina Festival
The Sopressa Festival takes place in Villabalzana di Arcugnano, a hamlet of the municipality of Arcugnano, in the province of Vicenza, in the heart of the Berici Hills. The star is the Sopressa Vicentina, the famous typical cured meat of the province, celebrated for over thirty-five years in one of the most beloved festivals of the Berici summer.
The Flavors of the Berici Hills
The food stand offers, in addition to sopressa, a menu rooted in Vicenza tradition: ribs, bigoli and gnocchi with various sauces, bruschetta with Berici truffle, sandwiches with sopressa, fried potatoes, artisanal desserts, and the unmissable frite (fried pastries). All served under a large covered area, which also features a dance floor.
Music, Dancing, and Community
The evenings combine good food with live music and dancing, along with a charity raffle and entertainment for all ages. The festival, organized by the parish of Villabalzana with the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Arcugnano, is a landmark event of the Berici Hills summer.

Sopressa Festival — edition 2026
The Sopressa Festival returns in July 2026 in the hamlet of Villabalzana di Arcugnano, in the Berici Hills. The festival will again feature the food stand with Sopressa Vicentina and local specialties – ribs, bigoli and gnocchi, truffle bruschetta, sopressa sandwiches, fried pastries – accompanied by evenings of music and dancing on the large covered dance floor and a charity raffle.
The event is usually held on the third weekend of July. The precise dates and detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced by the organizers closer to the event.
