Siparea - Comedy Night under the stars is the festival dedicated to stand-up comedy and cabaret that, during summer evenings, transforms a corner of Rome's city centre into a small open-air theatre. The evenings are held inside AREA*, the large inclusion village that comes to life every year at the Baths of Caracalla, in the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio region. Here, amidst ancient monuments and illuminated lawns, the audience sits under the stars for a programme of laughter, reflection, and light-heartedness.

The heart of the festival is live comedy: monologues, topical satire, and popular comedy follow one another at a fast pace, featuring well-known names from the television and theatre scene alongside emerging comedians. Recent editions have seen artists such as Vincenzo De Lucia, Alessandro Di Carlo, Alexandra Filotei, and Alberto Farina take the stage. Alongside the stand-up, there are moments of discussion provided by two original talk shows: Roma (incontra) Roma, where the city tells its story through its own voices, and Quisquilie, which deconstructs current events through pop culture, activism, and queer irony.

Entry to the village is free, and the programme runs over several weeks, usually from Tuesday to Sunday until late at night.
