The Sikelia Culture Festival is a multidisciplinary cultural event held in Caltagirone, a UNESCO World Heritage city in the heart of Sicily. Hosted within the grounds and gardens of Villa Patti, the festival brings together leading figures from the Italian cultural, scientific, and artistic scenes for four days of meetings, dialogues, and public performances.
The goal of the event is to foster exchange between different disciplines, creating opportunities for dialogue between scientific research, popularization, the arts, literature, innovation, and contemporary society.

Organization and patronage
The festival is promoted by Sikelia APS. The artistic direction is led by Giuseppe Federico, while the organization is managed by Francesco Amato, Filippo Fabbricatore, Luana Gagliano, Roberta Federico, Sofia Iris Caristia, and Annalisa Guzzardi.
The event is held under the patronage of the City University of New York (CUNY), the University of Catania, the Network of Festivals of the Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto UNESCO, and the Metropolitan City of Catania, and is part of the Hot Cult summer program of the Municipality of Caltagirone.

From August 6 to 9, 2026, the Sikelia Culture Festival returns to Caltagirone for its third edition. The 2026 edition of the Sikelia Culture Festival will take place at Villa Patti in Caltagirone from August 6 to 9, upholding the multidisciplinary spirit that has defined the event since its inception. Over four days, the festival offers a packed schedule of panels, roundtables, masterclasses, workshops, interviews, artistic performances, and concerts, creating unique opportunities for dialogue between leaders in culture, research, the arts, and public outreach.
The panels cover a wide range of topics, from space travel to art, literature to psychology, and comics to music, as well as cuisine, science, slam poetry, experiential workshops, and the promotion of UNESCO heritage. Featured guests include astronaut Luca Parmitano, aerospace engineer Tommaso Ghidini, astrophysicist Marcello Spagnulo, professor Roberta Morosini, educator Matteo Saudino (Barbasophia), illustrator Fraffrog, singer-songwriter Davide Shorty, American poet Bob Holman, chefs Pino Cuttaia and Corrado Assenza, communicator Filippo Canoro, and psychologist Valentina Marroni, joined by numerous other experts from the worlds of culture, scientific research, the arts, and innovation.

All events begin at 6:00 PM within the grounds and gardens of Villa Patti. The four-day program weaves together panels, talks, performances, and concerts according to the following themes:
