Sigillo Infiora is the 'infiorata' that every year, for the Corpus Domini holiday, transforms the streets of Sigillo, a small municipality in the Monte Cucco Park in the province of Perugia, into a large carpet of flowers. It is an ancient and deeply felt tradition, passed down from generation to generation, which involves all the inhabitants of the town.
Flower carpets on the streets of the center
The floral carpets extend for over 4,000 square meters along eleven streets and in the historic center's square, featuring designs created by local and international artists. The flowers used — broom, roses, and savory — are gathered in the mountains in the days leading up to the festival, following a ritual that involves the entire community in the preparations.
The procession of the Blessed Sacrament
All the artworks can be admired from the early hours of Sunday morning until 11:30 AM, when the Blessed Sacrament passes during the Corpus Domini procession. A moment of great suggestion that combines ephemeral art, devotion, and the identity of a village that makes the 'infiorata' one of its most important events of the year.
Sigillo Infiora — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Sigillo Infiora is scheduled for June 6 and 7, for the Corpus Domini holiday. As per tradition, all inhabitants of the Monte Cucco village create the floral carpets and designs — over 4,000 sqm along eleven streets and in the square — using broom, rose, and savory flowers gathered in the mountains in the preceding days. The artworks can be admired on Sunday morning until 11:30 AM, when the Blessed Sacrament passes during the procession.

June 6-7, 2026 — Historic center of Sigillo
- Saturday and the night between Saturday and Sunday — Creation of the floral carpets and designs along eleven streets and in the square
- Sunday morning — The floral artworks can be admired from the early hours until 11:30 AM
- Around 11:30 AM — The Blessed Sacrament passes during the Corpus Domini procession

By car: Sigillo can be reached from the SS3 Flaminia, in the Monte Cucco Park in the province of Perugia. Parking is available near the center.
