Riccione's summer literary review, featuring author encounters, poetry, and current affairs under the stars
Senza Fine – Words and Books Under Moon and Stars of Riccione is the summer literary review promoted by the Municipality of Riccione, in the heart of the Romagna Riviera in the province of Rimini, in Emilia-Romagna. Founded in 2024, the event brings writers, journalists, poets, philosophers, and voices of current affairs to the open-air lounge of Piazzale Ceccarini every summer, transforming Riccione's most elegant promenade into a stage dedicated to books and dialogue.
The format is the author encounter: each evening, at 9:15 PM, features book presentations, conversations, and readings, with a moderator guiding the dialogue with the guest. Topics range from literature to investigative journalism, from poetry to philosophy, to memory and the major issues of current affairs. The review traditionally opens with a preview by the sea, on Spiaggia del Sole 86-87 along the Lungomare della Libertà, then moves to Piazzale Ceccarini during the central weeks of summer.
Senza Fine is designed for a broad audience: residents, passionate readers, and tourists who flock to Riccione during the summer months find here an opportunity for free cultural enrichment. The Mondadori Bookstore Riccione is present at every event, managing the official bookshop with the sale of the guests' books and book signings at the end of the encounters. In case of bad weather, the evenings are moved indoors to the Palazzo del Turismo at Piazzale Ceccarini 11.
The event is part of the rich summer calendar of the "Green Pearl of the Adriatic," complementing seaside and social life with a quality cultural offering. Over the years, the review has hosted leading figures in the Italian literary and journalistic scene, confirming Riccione as a destination capable of combining entertainment and reflection, under the moon and stars of the Romagna summer.
The 2026 edition of Senza Fine, the third, opens on Saturday, June 13, with a preview on Spiaggia del Sole 86-87 and continues in Piazzale Ceccarini throughout July and August. Promoted by the Municipality of Riccione, it offers a high-profile program that intertwines fiction, investigative journalism, poetry, and philosophical thought. All encounters begin at 9:15 PM and are free admission; the bookshop is managed by Mondadori Bookstore Riccione.
