Senza Confini

A concert to overcome all barriers

Senza Confini is the musical event with which Borgo Tossignano, a small Municipality in the Santerno Valley in the province of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna, celebrates the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, which takes place every year on May 17th. The initiative stems from the desire of the municipal administration to entrust music with a clear and universal message: to break down the barriers of prejudice through sound, on an occasion that unites the community in the name of respect and inclusion.

Where it takes place

The concert is held in the Council Chamber of the Borgo Tossignano Town Hall, in Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia 7, in the heart of the town. An institutional and intimate space, which for one evening transforms into a place of listening and meeting, where music becomes a shared language beyond all differences.

Who organizes it

The event is promoted by the Municipal Administration of Borgo Tossignano in collaboration with the town's Musical Association, an entity deeply rooted in the territory. The association enlivens local cultural life with instrument and singing courses, music initiation activities for children, workshops in schools, and concerts open to the public, carrying out valuable educational and musical dissemination work throughout the season, from October to May.
