Sartoria Teatrale is the prose and comedy season at the Cineteatro Don Bosco in Potenza, located in Piazza Don Bosco. The name itself reflects the philosophy of the event, summarised by the slogan "tailored for you": a programme designed like a bespoke suit for the people of Potenza, featuring great comedies, author's plays, and popular theatre performances.

Organised by Metropolis in collaboration with the Compagnia Opera and with the patronage of the Municipality of Potenza, the season brings well-known names from Italian theatre and television to the capital of Basilicata, with a schedule running through autumn, winter, and spring.

Prose, Comedy, and Theatre for Children

The programme alternates between brilliant prose and major Italian comedy titles, with performers capable of attracting a large and loyal audience. Alongside the evening shows, the season also includes a section dedicated to children, "Ago & Filo" (Needle & Thread), with productions designed for families and schools.
