Edition 2025 — Sapori di Lago

The 2025 edition of Sapori di Lago, the 20th, celebrated twenty years of the festival in Baveno at the Oratorio di Oltrefiume, from August 21 to 24 and August 28 to September 1. The Associazione Cuochi Alto e Basso Novarese e VCO, chaired by Roberto Donderi, offered traditional lake fish recipes, enriched for the occasion by a themed 'merenda sinòira' (afternoon snack), with a charity dinner closing the event on September 1.

The 20th edition of Sapori di Lago, held in Baveno at the Oratorio di Oltrefiume from August 21 to 24 and from August 28 to September 1, 2025, marked an important milestone: twenty years of the gastronomic festival dedicated to lake fish.

To celebrate the anniversary, the Associazione Cuochi Alto e Basso Novarese e VCO, chaired by Roberto Donderi, complemented the festival's classic dishes with a lake-style 'merenda sinòira', featuring fried bleak accompanied by Grana Padano cheese and a glass of red wine. The great classics were confirmed: fried lake fish, black risotto with river prawns, fish ravioli, carpione-style whitefish, and marinated trout.

The final evening on Monday, September 1, was dedicated to the charity dinner, with proceeds donated to the Baveno Red Cross and the A.I.B. of Invorio.
