Santa Piada

The 2025 edition of Santa Piada was held on June 27 and 28, 2025, in the historic center of Santarcangelo di Romagna, in the province of Rimini, confirming itself as one of the most popular food and wine events of the Romagna summer with around 30,000 attendees.

Men and women in period costumes revived ancient crafts such as hemp spinning and hand weaving, in a large market with a traditional feel. The piadina stands offered original fillings designed for the occasion, with options for celiacs, while the president of the Consortium, Alfio Biagini, engaged in conversation with Frida Vasini, described as a "storyteller of food." Chefs from the ChefToChef Emilia Romagna Cuochi association were also present, along with live music and dancing, farm animals, workshops on piadina preparation, and guided tours to discover Santarcangelo and the culture of piadina.
