The patronal feast of Aramengo in the heart of the Asti Lower Monferrato
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Sant'Anna Patronal Feast is the most important celebration of the year for Aramengo, a small town of just over five hundred inhabitants nestled in the hills of the Lower Monferrato, in the province of Asti, Piedmont. The festival honors the town's patron saint, Sant'Anna, whose liturgical feast day falls on July 26th: it is around this date that the village comes alive every summer for three days of music, conviviality, and tradition.
The heart of the festival is the piazza del Municipio (Town Hall Square), which transforms into a large open-air stage for the occasion. This is where the evening concerts take place, all with free admission, accompanied by food and wine stands managed by the Aramengo Pro Loco. The formula is the tried-and-tested one of the best Piedmontese village festivals: dining outdoors, toasting with friends, and staying to listen to music until late at night.
The Pro Loco stands showcase local traditional specialties prepared with regional products. The stars of the show are naturally the wines from the surrounding hills, from Barbera to the reds of Monferrato, but there is no shortage of beer, vermouth, and cocktails, in collaboration with local producers and businesses. It is the perfect opportunity to discover Asti's food and wine scene in an authentic and popular atmosphere.
The Aramengo Pro Loco focuses heavily on live concerts, with bands and groups capable of satisfying all tastes, and dedicates a specific moment to the youth: the organizers' stated goal is to keep the community alive and involve the new generations. In past editions, the square has hosted cover bands, vocal groups, and tributes to the great history of rock.
More than just an event, the Sant'Anna Feast is a defining appointment for Aramengo and the neighboring hamlets: a way to gather, strengthen the town's bonds, and welcome visitors arriving from the rest of the Asti Monferrato. A genuine experience, far from the major tourist circuits, that tells the truest soul of the Piedmontese province.
The 2026 Sant'Anna Feast in Aramengo is expected around July 26th, the patron saint's feast day, with the usual three-day format in the Town Hall Square. As every year, the organization is entrusted to the Aramengo Pro Loco, which will offer free evening concerts and food and wine stands featuring Barbera and Monferrato wines, beer, and local specialties.
At the moment, the detailed 2026 program (artists, times, and stand menus) has not yet been published. For updates, it is recommended to follow the Aramengo Pro Loco Facebook page in the weeks leading up to the event.
